The 2.0L Zetec I4 has a high 10.2:1 compression ratio; 84.8 mm (3.339 in) bore and 88 mm (3.465 in) stroke. I4 or inline-four means the engine with all four cylinders mounted in a straight line, or plane along the crankcase.
